Enigma

Welcome to my entry to the 2020 GMTK Game Jam: Enigma!

Try and control your robot using your rapidly dwindling supply of keys.

• Click on the robot to open its board. Click on a key to pick it up, and click it again in a slot to drop it there. Click outside the board to return to the world.
• Get keys by defeating enemies.
• Number keys are lighter-colored than letter keys. There aren't any punctuation keys.
• The 6 slots on the left are your controls. From top to bottom:
  • Move up
  • Move down
  • Move left
  • Move right
  • Steam Blast
  • Grenade
• The Steam Blast is a short-range, weak attack.
• The Grenade is a powerful explosion that does splash damage. Don't hit yourself with it!
• The slot above the gauge sacrifices one of your keys in return for a grenade. The gauge shows your remaining grenades.
• Whenever you take damage, you lose some of your keys.
• Stay alive and try and beat my highscore!

It's called Enigma because of the Enigma machine. Plugging in keys into different spots reminded me of it!
